It all began with a young farm girl and a professional Jai Alai player from the Basque Country in the north of Spain. Food and family are fundamental parts of the Basque tradition, and they decided to bring a little of that to the states in the 1970's. Arantza, the head matriarch of the family, began by making chorizos and breads in her tiny home kitchen using a manual meat grinder. After seeing the demand for a taste of truly home cooked foods, they decided to make the move to West Palm Beach and open Napoleon Bakery in 1986. Their purpose is to bring a little taste of the Basque Country to you, without having to travel across the world to get to it.
